An Italian court has ruled that excessive, work-related use of a mobile phone caused an executive to develop a benign brain tumour. Roberto Romeo, 57, had testified that his work duties obliged him to use his mobile for three to four hours of each working day for 15 years.

Berkeley Pushing To Put Cancer Warning On Cell Phones: San Francisco recently lost a battle to label cell phones with warning stickers stating that they are "possibly carcinogenic," but SF's neighbor Berkeley has taken up the fight, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.
If the proposed ordinance passes, Berkeley would be the first U.S. city to require such warnings — though the science behind them is far from settled.
